Good quality and consistent care for your customers relies on making sure everyone is informed and up-to-date.

That’s why we’re excited that recent updates to Lookout’s collaborative notebook feature now encourages more open communication amongst your customers and staff - ensuring that everybody's on the same page.

How does it work?

Essentially, collaborative notebook is a digital representation of a physical book and allows everyone to be kept informed. Your business can now post and share notes with your staff for better transparency, peace of mind and deeper engagement with everybody involved in the care of your customers.

Customers and their network will receive stories, updates and insights directly from their care team. When you have got something important to share with your customer, they will receive an email or app notification to let them know a new note has been posted in their notebook.

The customer joins the conversation

At Lookout, we know it is important that your customers and their families are actively involved in the conversations regarding their own care. The notebook isn't just about record keeping and accountability.

The notebook is a two-way communication channel.

Now, the customer can comment on any post and contribute to the discussion whether they want to ask a question, add their own thoughts or simply give a thumbs up. By providing access to the notebook, we want to help you empower your customers and their families to take control of their own care journeys.

No phone? No worries, your customers can always use the website.

Did you know your customers can access all the features in your app by logging in to their account on your website? No need for smartphones, a computer with an internet connection works just fine.

Where can your customers find their notebook?

The customer can view their notebook at any time by simply doing the following:

  1. They can click on their avatar in the top-left corner if using the app, or top-right corner if they are using the website.

  1. Then they can scan through the menu until they see a button labelled “Notebook”.

  1. Family, loved ones: Your customers' family members can scan down the menu until they see the customer’s name under "your loved ones". They can click on their name, and then a menu will appear with an option called 'Notebook'.

  1. Voila! They have found their notebook. They’ll otherwise receive notifications when new notes are posted to their notebook which will link them there directly.
